wordOS is an idle word game. The bytes, kernel points, programs and upgrades you earn in it have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and exist only inside the game.
wordOS is free to try for three reboots. A one-time in-app purchase, sold by Apple, unlocks the full game. There are no subscriptions and no consumable purchases. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. A purchase can be restored on any device signed in to the same Apple ID.
Your progress is stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your iCloud account. We never receive it and cannot recover it for you. Export your save from Settings if you want a copy of your own. See the privacy policy for details.
The word list comes from public dictionary sources and is filtered, but language is large and filters are imperfect. Definitions, jokes and relationship names are written for entertainment and are not authoritative. Pop-culture references are affectionate nods; wordOS is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the owners of any work it references, and all trademarks belong to their owners.
Do not decompile, redistribute, or repackage the app or its content, or use it in a way that breaks any applicable law.
The game runs on your device and does not depend on any service we operate. We may stop publishing updates at any time. Updates may add, change, rebalance, or remove features.
The app, including its interface, artwork, sound, word data, definitions and relationship writing, belongs to Lavai Labs LLC. Third-party parts are used under their own licenses, listed in full in the app under SETTINGS > CREDITS AND LICENSES: the SCOWL word lists, Princeton WordNet, the CMU Pronouncing Dictionary, seven typefaces under the SIL Open Font License, and the RevenueCat SDK (MIT).
wordOS is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lavai Labs LLC is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including lost progress.
These terms may be updated when the app changes materially. The date at the top reflects the current version.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict of law principles.
